6pm.com is an online clothing outlet with a huge selection of discounted dresses. At the time of our visit, we saw more than 50 pages of dresses, with about 100 dresses per page! There are many styles, from little black dresses, to metallic sequined dresses, to ribbed dresses. Labels include Tahari by ASL, The North Face, Calvin Klein, DC, BCBGMAXAZRIA, BB Dakota, DKNYC, Free People, Hurley, Lucky Brand, Karen Kane, Three Dots, Roxy and more.

An interesting feature of the website: there are short videos that accompany many of the dress descriptions. The media features models walking and turning so that shoppers may get a sense of how the clothing looks when worn. The website footer indicates that 6pm.com is operated by Zappos Development, Inc.

Clearance Skirts from Garnet Hill

Garnet Hill is a clothing and home decor business that offers some versatile skirts, and at some reasonable prices. During our recent visit to the company's website, we saw a knee-length pencil skirt offered for $39, and a crinkled cotton party skirt (cut just above the knee) offered for $14 (original price: $98.). Versace Teams Up with H and M

Fashion label Versace is working with Stockholm-based retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), to offer a fall line that includes clothing for men and women and some items for the home. Versace items should be on the racks in H&M stores by November 19th. Contact your local H&M for details on what will be available in your area.

We've discovered a site that offers some attractive dress options at some ridiculously low prices. The Alloy, store is part of an entertainment/fashion blog. The dress section has quite an extensive selection, covering categories such as Bohemian, print, maxi, rompers, knit and others. Within those categories you'll find tunic dresses, tank dresses, Boho dresses, tee dresses and other interesting styles. At the time of our visit, we saw several dresses priced below $30, and if you visit the clearance section, you may see some items offered for about $20. The Alloy store also offers jeans, tops, shoes, swimwear and more.

By all appearances, the inventory turns over quickly at HSN. Our visit to the clearance dresses section turned up many dresses for less than $30, and some were even priced in the teens. Labels include DKNYC, Serena Williams, Slinky, Thread by Thread Social, Twiggy LONDON, Randolph Duke, Tiana B, Tara Swennen and others. We saw many styles, everthing from laid-back sweater tunic dresses, to sequined dresses for evenings out. If you look beyond the clearance section, you'll find many products that are sorted into useful categories: A-line dresses, shirt dresses, babydoll dresses, shift dresses and more. The HSN home page also features a daily special section where you may find a fashionable article of clothing at a good price.

Skirt suits are useful if you're planning on interviewing for a new job, or if you want to develop a more professional or authoritative appearance in your current position.
